Performing arts are a critical part of our society, and supporting the arts enriches our cultural fabric by bringing beauty to an otherwise chaotic world. Meistersingers is in its 21st season, and has been hard at work to enrich the lives of people in Orange County through choral arts since 2000.
Meistersingers provides exceptional quality music, but it comes at a cost. And ticket sales alone don't provide enough revenue to meet the expenses of providing high quality programming every year. Each concert requires money to pay for things like venues, purchasing scores, licensing, hiring orchestras and musicians, promotion, printing programs, etc. A single concert can cost $10,000+ to produce.
